ANNUAL CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY PROJECT

Our Warrior boys’ basketball players and coaches teamed-up with the MHS Sociology Classes for an Annual Christmas Community Project to support Mission Arlington with their “Holiday Gift Drive” benefiting the children ofArlington. 

 With the Warriors’ basketball participation, Martin helped Mission Arlington achieve their goal of serving over 33,000 kids.  Our players donated new gifts, such as stockings filled with candy, toothbrushes & toothpaste, basketballs (of course for the young basketball player in all of us), skate boards, helmets, action figures, remote controlled cars, gloves, beanies, shirts, shoes and Nike socks, and presented them to the staff of Mission Arlington during a celebration event on Saturday, December 10.

 We love being a part of this wonderful community … and our players learned a valuable lesson … having something under the Christmas tree means everything to these young kids.

This is the official site of the Martin Warrior Basketball Booster Club. The mission of the Martin Warrior Basketball Booster Club is to support Warrior Basketball at all levels, in spirit and in dollars. This organization helps provide some important elements that the athletic budget cannot cover. Funds are used for varsity scholarships, uniforms, warm-ups, championship banners, equipment, team travel, hospitality for events and much, much more.

Projects of the club include the indoor concessions stand (run entirely by Booster Club Volunteers), the Annual Super Saturday First Event, tournaments, and various sporting events. Funds are raised through membership, indoor concession standard sales, spirit merchandise, and the Annual Car Wash.

The first season games are only a few weeks away and now is the time to show your support for Martin Warriors Basketball by joining the Booster Club.

The Martin Warrior Basketball Booster Club is currently selling advertisements in this year’s 2011-2012 official Martin Warrior Boys Basketball program. Unlike other area schools and organizations which charge for their programs, we ensure that your ad reaches the widest possible audience of potential customers as our programs are distributed at Martin basketball games FREE of charge. Our players will even come by and have a photograph taken at your business for your advertisement.

Your Involvement is Paramount to a Successful Martin Warrior Basketball Program

The success of Martin Warrior Basketball cannot be accomplished without the efforts of our volunteers. Please consider supporting our efforts by volunteering at basketball related events throughout the season.

The indoor concession stand is staffed completely by volunteers, and its hours of operation are consistent with all Martin Home Varsity, JV and Freshman games. The income from the concession stand helps support Martin Warrior Basketball and Booster Club mission.

Show your Warrior Basketball spirit by wearing our Spirit T-Shirts and Hoodies at all basketball games and at school on game day. Visit our concession stand at Martin HS home games… spirit wear can be purchased at the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman games.
